Recently, I was prescribed Lotemax, a steroid eye drop used for treating eye inflammation. I researched the medication and found that it was not listed among ototoxic drugs. However, it has caused a significant negative reaction in my ears, specifically an increase in volume (possibly tinnitus).

This happened about a week ago. Is there anything I can do to potentially reverse or mitigate the damage, since it's still relatively recent?

Does anyone else have experience with Ofloxacin eye drops? I’ve been using them for a day, and my tinnitus has worsened significantly. I’m not sure if it's due to the drops or something else. I’m also unsure how I’ll cope if the tinnitus remains at this level.

It wasn’t the eye drops, but I’ve used Ofloxacin ear drops before. There was no change in my tinnitus (I have yet to find anything that affects it).
