I don't have any neck/cervical spine problems or experiencing any pain. However, since the onset of my tinnitus, which is a high pitch tone/hiss, I started hearing a weird sound in my ears when I turn my head side to side. It sounds like a lot of air is escaping from a tiny hole or something. The sound has a rushing start, then it tapers off.
Here's a video I found on YouTube that sounds very similar to what I am hearing:
Whenever I turn my head I feel "air leaking" under my ear and hear the sound like in the video above, if I cover my ears and turn my head/neck the sound will be much more loud and audible. I can modulate the sound (volume and pitch) by how far I am turning my neck or rotating my head, it never stops until I turn back my head to normal position. I am wondering what could be this? Am I hearing fluids in my neck or is it pinched nerves or what?
I have been to an ENT and a GP, also had neck massages. Nothing helped. I searched over the internet but I can't seem to find anything helpful or anybody experiencing the same. What are your thoughts on this guys? I would appreciate any help
