This is a comedy-travel show I am watching on Netflix. Through season 1, really enjoying it, very funny but...

The episode where Karl goes to Mexico they make him go to an easter parade of sorts where they are setting off firecrackers right there on the street. Knowing what I know this just seems cruel. It was definitely a "dude, that's not funny" moment for me.

No other point to this thread really. Just posting about how something that was intended to be funny...isn't when you have tinnitus.

Your post reminded me of a YouTube clip I watched recently:

You can watch it beginning at 4:42. At 5:10 mark, the person in the clip describes a side airbag going off as "a firecracker in my ear". I sincerely hope he doesn't regret making that clip...

I am a big fan of Karl Pilkington. Check out The Ricky Gervais Show (Karl is the star of that show) and The Moaning of Life. I am looking forward to his upcoming show Sick of It.

Love that show. Karl Pilkington is a genius.
I am currently watching "Cunk on Britain." I don't know how to feel about it. On the one hand, the presenter seems to be totally plagiarizing Karl Pilkington's character. On the other hand, she is as funny as Karl Pilkington. In any case, if you liked Karl, you might want to check "Cunk on Britain."

I watched this a few days ago, I agree I'm not sure how to take the series but it did make me laugh a lot.... especially when she was interviewing the historians on various subjects.
