Cause of Tinnitus
I don't know
Hi guys

A month ago, I woke up with a difficulty to swallow, when I swallow I get all the symptoms associated with Eustachian Tube Dysfunction: popping ears, sinus, squelching sound in the ears, crackling sound, and low to moderate tinnitus, especially at night. I went to the doctor and she said that my ears have a lot of wax inside them, and that I should remove it. She gave a nose spray of course but it didn't help.

Do you think this is tinnitus if its associated with symptoms of Eustachian Tube Dysfunction and ear wax? will treating my Eustachian tube wash away the tinnitus?

I never removed it, do you think I should give it a shot?

Two doctors said that my ears are full of wax that they can barely see anything inside them.

Many get T after doctors remove wax from their ears using microsuction or syringing. There is no reason to take that risk. Ask the doctor to remove the wax from your ears using manual tools. I think the name of one of the tools is curette. Another tool looks like a wire loop. Make sure to use special ear drops for two weeks prior to your appointment to soften the wax. Also make sure that the person cleaning your ears is a doctor who has a lot of experience (and not a nurse with little experience).
