It feels like there is a lot of air stuck in my right ear. Causing ringing. How to get it out ?

Did anything specific cause this? (Sound, flight, colds, yawn, ear popping, medication)

I was busy skull thumping to see if it did anything. It just seems to have made it worse... it feels like I have air stuck in it. So horrible how it can get worse so quick

I was skull thumping myself. And the ringing is acting weird, fluctuating. The issue is that it feels like something... something arrogant is stuck in my right ear. Im trying Valseva and all but no luck. I dont want to jump to conclusions though.

Im sure that Valseva would have solved my issue by now. This just additionally confirms that my issue is noise inducedness. Though, this is my 3rd day and havent been to an ENT at all. Doctor only looked at my ear and said it was clean. I hope I didnt waste anyones time...

Just because the Valsalva maneuver did'nt work, doesn't mean that it's noice induced. The maneuver doensn't always work. Try to leave it alone, whatever you're doing is obviously not working.

I've had a similar experience but with fluctuating hearing, it turned out to be a little amount of fluid in my middle ear. I did the valsalva maneuver but it only muffled my hearing futher. The fluctating hearing lasted for 3 months. You should absolutely see an ENT and try not to freak out in the meantime.

Hello. Thanks for the information. Could it be that that the doctor missed out on something? I mean I just went there and he looked in, said it was clean. You cant see everything right?


My appointment with the ENT is in a month. Im not sure how I can get to one quickly ?

Well if its a problem with the inner ear then they cant really look at it because its almost in the brain. You just have to give it time. Its the best medicine for this type of thing.
