- cumulative loud music exposure and 'last' big exposure
Hi guys, so story short I've developed tinnitus due to high noise exposure 21 days ago. I currently live in London and have tried a few things so far.
I have taken prednisolone for 9 days (starting with 60mg) but honestly that didn't seem to help. I have also, and continue, taking Flunarizine twice a day. Will start on Betahistine this coming week, but in terms of drugs, this will be it.
At the same time, I am taking Zinc, Vit D, Ginkgo, NAC, Omega 3 and NMN, magnesium and curcumin are arriving. As you can see, I tried to act fast and no more than 9 days I had most of it in hands. However, since none of this seem to have worked wonders so far, I want to try some alternative new things while I am still in the acute phase.
- Has anyone have done or have anything to add regarding intravenous laser therapy? There are a couple of places in London that do it.
- How different or similar intravenous laser therapy is in terms of outcome compared to the normal laser therapy which is well talked about in here? This is also an option, many osteopathy and physical therapy places have this. However, I am not sure if the device is correct or indicated for tinnitus such as these I've read in here from Dr Wilden (?).
- Has anyone tried ozone therapy and could talk a bit about it? I'm not sure about the benefits. It seems quite scary but I'm willing to try if I hear good things.
- IV curcumin - waste of money as I have bought the capsules already?
Thanks for the time x
