At the present time I'm using Zen's hearing aids with different features to change the sounds of the device and the loudness. I had a set of the old wings but one of the pair doesn't work! Now my question is that I have severe hearing loss and when I placed one of the old wings in my ears I could not hear it at all (the good one). So how can a person use that style of TRT devices when your hearing is so bad that the hissing noise cannot be heard. Now with the Zen's I can have clear hearing and set my device on the white noise and hear the low noise generator. There are three setting and I just keep at the lowest setting so my T's are clearly heard but still there is a noise in the background. Thanks for your time Jon
