Cause of Tinnitus
Unsure
Hi, I have been suffering from tinnitus for a few years, the high pitched kind. I have accepted this is here to stay.

A few weeks ago, my right ear, I have been noticing a very low, droving pulse kind of thing.

NOT in sync with my heart beat, very subtle, easily maskeable with background noise but in quiet very noticeable. Kind of like a bass noise, and I can subtly feel it. Ear is not infected, no pain, discharge, etc..

Was wondering if maybe excess ear wax can cause this?

I've been experiencing the same thing, for a few weeks as well. Came out of nowhere, and I hadn't been exposed to noise. I was wondering the same thing myself, since I've noticed my ears have felt a bit, uh, waxier lately. definitely a possibility imo.
