MRI — Worried It Making My Tinnitus Worse, or Something Serious Being Found...

Feeling nervous for the MRI I am getting... Not only am I worried about my tinnitus getting worse, I'm also worried about something worse showing up like a tumor... I have no other symptoms besides my tinnitus but anxiety is causing me so much stress :/

Anyone experience being extremely nervous for an MRI increasing your tinnitus or scared of the results? Any tips?

@Kelsie make sure to protect your hearing as best as you can. Those things are loud. Unless you are getting one done by the new silent MRI machines they've made (not sure what states they are located in). If you think you got your tinnitus from noise then you shouldn't worry about a tumor or what not. You should be okay with your MRI. Be strong!

I have had several. I wore earplugs and muffs. No problems.
