That still isnt going to stop me from scouring all the medical literature that I can to try and find out if there is something. I know it is a long shot, like over the horizon, but I just feel like something is out there.

Maybe there are other cellular signalling pathways on mature cells and cancer cells that arent on LGR5+ stem cells that if triggered will not cause a build up of beta-catenin while allowing it to accumulate in the cytoplasm of the LGR5+ cells.

The LGR5+ stem cells are also present in the crypt cells in the intestinal epithelium.

It would have to be a cocktail of things to address all the substrates involved. If only one substance or supplement addressed all the necessary pathways, word would spread quickly and this would be known imo.

Even Hough's pill has to be coupled with NAC.

Seriously the ATA is infested with psychologists that want our money without fixing the damn problem. Imagine if the American Cancer Society was filled with people who weren't even trying to fix cancer.

Psychology is not related to tinnitus. They should ruin some other community.

The government is our worse enemy. They don't want to cure people, they want people to continue suffering because they benefit from us being on medications, therapy, alcohol, etc.
Fuck the shrinks. My therapist always ignores or changes the topic saying, "it must be really hard. I've never had that so I don't know." Bitch.

That comes across as rather snobby, in my opinion. What gives anyone the right to judge others in this way? "Top bloke" is not associated with "commoners" at all.

I socialise with people right across the social spectrum from the upper-middle class to working-class and everywhere in between. They all swear and they all say things like "top bloke" or "top geezer" frequently. From my experience, posh people, or rich people, swear just as much as the working class do.

It all feels a bit Victorian to me. Unless you're aspiring to have a title or be a member of the royal family or something, then nobody cares, and even they swear like sailors anyway. They just try to keep it private.

I mean check Prince Philip out. He's married to the Queen and he's frequently caught swearing and using "common language." Does this mean he was dragged up?



Personally, I don't think the way a person talks says anything about their character. I judge people by their actions and not the way they speak or their class. You can find morally corrupt and emotionally vacant people who speak the queens English, but at the end of the day, they could be a total c*nt. On the flip side of this, you can find people with language from the gutter who have a heart of gold and contribute more to society than any of those pretentious snobs.

I agree it does come across as snobby but that is the way society is or at least the circles I move in. People would be aghast to hear me use such language. As for using profanity that is a definite No! You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to mine and therefore, shall end it there.

I agree you're entitled to your opinion, but you must admit that you frequently force your opinion of language and class onto others. I think people are free to talk as they see fit as there are much more important things to worry about in the world.

Of course, there is a time and a place to be courteous where swearing would be considered highly inappropriate.

However, I can't help but imagine a load of squaddies engaging in a firefight whilst saying something like, "Dear me Charles, this gunfire is frightfully loud. I think we should evacuate this area immediately!"

It would be more like, "Fucking hell Charlie, these bullets are taking the skin off my arse! Let's get the fuck out of here!

I do not admit to forcing my opinion of language onto others. The only thing I object to is corresponding with someone that uses profanity. If they choose to then I will discontinue correspondence with them.

I wouldn't expect you to understand as you are a frequent user of profanity. They maybe words to you but people that use such language and on a regular basis such as you, it says a lot about their character, the people they mix with and the way they were brought up.

It says everything about a person's character, the people they mix with and ultimately who they are. I am not referring to someone that might occasionally swear, I am talking about people that regularly swear and it's 50 times worse when written.

There is no point continuing this discussion as you have your opinion and I have mine and we are not going to change.

Words are just sound patterns with completely arbitrary meanings applied to them, this is language. We use words to convey ideas. Fuck can mean a sex act but it can also be just like saying wow.

Saying "I am morally and intellectually superior to you and my opinions are more correct." is snobbish and rude.

Saying, "Aw, fuck, I got a tinnitus spike." is not rude.

It is not the words we use but how we use them.
