I've had tinnitus for 2 months already. These past few weeks though have been really good. I haven't habituated, but I've tolerated a lot more and I have been sad at all about my T. More like just bothered by it. Anyways, from my 2nd-3rd week of tunnitus I had developed reactive tinnitus, so around mid September or so. It was a ringing at first then it turned it something that sounded like an amber alert. Somewhat similar anyways. His lasted until early or maybe even mid October. Since then I just my regular tinnitus, which varies from a hissing to a static noise. I was doing very well like I said. But since yesterday, out of nowhere my amber alert sounding reactive T came back all of a sudden. For no reason. I had no loud noise exposure or anything. I really hope it goes away again.
But if it doesn't, is it possible to habituate to reactive T? It's not too loud but it is very noticeable.
