Does anyone else experience tinnitus spikes over the years? I've had tinnitus for 9 years now, going on 10. I had pretty much habituated, but over the past few weeks, the pitch has increased.

I didn't realize that naproxen could be the culprit, but I've stopped using it. It's only been a couple of days, so I'm not sure how long it will take to completely leave my system. I've also heard that tinnitus can get worse with age.

Anyway, here I am again, looking for input. I really thought the worst days of tinnitus were behind me—what a bummer! Still, I've got to stay strong. There's a lot of life to live for. If I did it once, I can do it again!

Interesting. I remember back in 2021, after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, I had an awful headache and took Naproxen. My tinnitus started the next day, but I've always attributed it to the vaccine rather than the Naproxen. I only took one tablet. I assumed Naproxen would only cause tinnitus if used over a longer period. What about you? Did you use it often?
