Hi guys.
Sorry I keep posting on here this week I just feel like if I have any questions this is the place to ask.

So I've had my first major spike. From what I think was stress/anxiety. Maybe noise exposure from shouting? I don't know.

Anyway so I have this new tone.
It's like a flat line. The majority of the new tone is in my left ear.

Does new tones indicate further damage to your ears. Or are new tones from spikes going to eventually fade when going back to your baseline??

Thanks again x

I'm currently going through a spike too. I think my ears are blocked as well, which is annoying.
When my tinnitus spikes, I sometimes get new tones. With this spike I have a tone that I can't compare to any noises that I've heard, but I know I get it when my tinnitus spikes. It doesn't really mean your ear is getting worse, especially if you didn't do anything that'd make it worse in the first place. Tinnitus is just unpredictable.

I often find that the new tones slowly fade over time as my spike goes down.
