I've been on oxycontin for chronic pain for several years, and my tinnitus started a few months ago. This month, I wanted to try and wean myself off the oxycontin and I've been able to do so. I've been off it for about a week now, and my tinnitus has gone from a 4 or 5 down to a 1 to gone a good portion of the day.
This is so odd, I can't find any documentation that there is a correlation between oxycontin and tinnitus. Anyone else experience this?
