When you went to see your doctor with tinnitus did you have a blood test to check for anaemia?

I answered yes because I did a full blood panel and many things were being checked (not just anemia), as part of the diagnosis process.
I did have severe Vitamin D deficiency, and I wonder if it played a role in the aggressive development of otosclerosis.

I also had low vit D which I've managed to correct. Still have T.
Didn't have anaemia but platelets and red blood cells were at the low end of the normal range.
 
Did you know anaemia can cause tinnitus?
That's really interesting, do you know if many forum users have found tinnitus improved with correction of anemia? I wasn't tested, but I'm always right on the borderline of anemia. Can't take iron supplements due to another condition.
