Does your tinnitus become louder when you move your jaw forward?

Mine does, is this normal?

My jaw also cracks when I open my mouth wide.

No, but related to jaw movement and ear ringing:

If I move my jaw itself (not forcing it with hands) backwards into my neck, my ears ring and stop when I relax it. This has always been the case, since I was a child, well before I ever had this T.
I did this often for the first few days because it seemed to temporarily stop my T, in much the same way the 'fingers on the back of the head' method did.

I soon discovered my jaw started clicking when I opened it. I stopped doing the jaw maneuver, and the jaw clicking soon went away.

Many of us who don't have TMJD, experience this. I am not sure whether it is common among healthy people, but it is very common among T sufferers.

There are many more threads like that. I remember discovering this about myself, and also making a post about it.
