Cause of Tinnitus
Loud Music
After having it for around 6 months, my T had finally quietened down to thepoint where I didn't entirely mind it.

A couple of days ago, however, I caught a bad cold which suddenly caused my ear to feel blocked and the T to become louder. Shortly after getting the cold (at about 3 o'clock in the morning), my ear popped. It was a very metallic kind od pop and happened every time I swallowed or yawned. Now about......two days later, the popping has gone, but the ear still feels blocked and the T, sill louder, as if I've gone deafin one ear...

I've been told that this might be Eustachian Tube Disorder. ... any tips or opinions on how to....msnage or get rid of it?

After reading this..
does ur jaws get stiff ?? Or painful ??
Your explanation of popping seems more like tmj .. joints in jaws are stiff or something ?? Opening wide goes tinning right ?

I kinda suffer from same issue..
But for me my jaws get very stiff and opening the mouth kinda gets very painful. . In ur case its pain is mild or just aches..
Best is u consult a good doctor, Explain ur symptoms, try to figure out wht is exact issue.
The popping u are explaining is caused by tight muscles in jaws.

I have an ENT appointment in the next few weeks - if it's still there, I'll definitely tell them...

It sounds like your Eustachian tubes are clogged from your cold. This can take a while to resolve usually a few weeks after a bad cold but it will clear up.

It doesn't sound much like TMJD but they do have overlapping symptoms.

Ask your ENT for something to help you with the congestion. Nasal steroids and/or decongestants are usually prescribed.

Fear not it will clear up at some point. True Eustachian tube dysfunction can take a while to fix itself but after cold congestion will normally dissipate quickly.

I had fluid in my ear and had fullness. If I put my head down I felt the fluid move. Went to the ENT who gave me stuff. I thought I'd ask. Good luck.

Ohkaaay. ..my ears popped when I yawned. It was loud and little painful, and now I think the noise has gotten a bit louder, and the ear feels a bit more dead than before. ....

did I just it worse???????

Netro .. inhaling steam helps u with etd.. try going on anti inflammatory diet .. tht is the two best thing u can do now untill u meet an ent doctor. ..
