      Tinnitus Since:
      06/2015
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Acoustic trauma
So I have had to take prednisone twice in the last month. One for sudden hearing loss in my left ear, and once when I car alarm went off next to my face for 5 minutes (my own damm fault for not knowing how not to work the stupid alarm).

Twice I have noticed a very significant decrease in my tinnitus when I have been on it. Especially the days where I had 20mg per day or more. I am really interested to learn how to know why this happened.

From what I read about prednisone, basically it treats inflammation in your body. So would that mean that I have some sort of an inflammation issue in my body that is causing my tinnitus? Is there anything else I can do to mitigate it seeing that prednisone works. Obviously I can’t be on prednisone for longer periods of time.
