Hello all, been a little while since I've posted but a full college class load had kept me more than busy....
I have a quick question....Recently I was prescribed a generic form of Robinul (Glycopyrrolate) for my severe palmar, plantar, and axillary hyperhidrosis (continuous, uncontrollable sweating) This drug has been an absolute miracle in terms of stopping the sweating (which genuinely bothers me more than my T. I can study with my T, but with hyperhidrosis my hands sweat so much I can't hold a pencil or touch paper without soaking it, my clothes get wet so fast that I'm absolutely freezing wherever I go, and I go through 4-5 shirts a day. This is NOT an exaggeration.) This is especially infuriating because outside of being a student I'm an artist....
All of that said, while I do experience great relief from Glycopyrrolate, a common side effect is ear congestion. In addition, I have also noticed a very slight increase in my noise sensitivity lately, but this may very well be because of stress more than anything. My tinnitus seems to be unaffected.
My question is simply if anyone has any knowledge as to the safety or any otic complications of Robinul or other Anticholinergic drugs. Currently, I am on a 2mg daily dosage.
