If anyone has any experience with the above hospital or has heard anything, would you be able to recommend an ENT consultant and/or anyone else worth seeing? The waiting times are ridiculous though... 3 months for a random ENT not even specializing in tinnitus...

I would get your GP to give you a referral to Laurence McKenna at the RNTN&E.
He is one of the best tinnitus specialists in the world, and you can get him or one of his team on the NHS.
Well worth the wait.

If you want to go private and lose the 3 month wait I would recommend Jacqui Sheldrake and Laurence McKenna.
Both at 32 Devonshire Place, London W1G 6JB. T. 020 7487 2701

Has anyone here had success with Laurence McKenna at the RNTN&E? I had a friend saw him in 2001 that helped him. But looking at the waiting times for GP referral of 3 months is long. On the UCLH website it says it can be 18 weeks = 4.5 months!

What would it cost to go private? Anyone know?

@SteveToHeal

Phone up reception at Devonshire Place 020 7487 2701. They will tell you.
I had good results with Laurence McKenna on the National Health and also Jacqui Sheldrake at Devonshire Place.

Just a thought. Why don't you go through the referal route. You could see LMcK privately for 2 or 3 sessions while you are waiting. Once you have been referred and you are in the system you then do all future sessions on the NHS.
Voila - limited waiting time.
