New here, have had tinnitus for a year or two, but recently was diagnosed with left sudden senseoneural hearing loss. Anyone here have that? The ENT treated it with 5 steroid injections into my ear, right thru the eardrum. Didn't help, looks like I will have this for good. Trying to stay positive. Any ideas on how to do that?

Nope, they did an MRI of my brain, looking for a tumor, but MRI was clear. Now they think it was bacterial. I will see the ENT in two months, but I am not encouraged at all, looks like my hearing loss is permanent. I have a constant loud whooshing in my left ear, ringing in my right. Looks like I've come to the right place. I just keep telling myself I could've gone blind, now that would suck!

I have sensorineural hearing loss and T in my right ear only. Might have been viral or what they call an ear stroke. Massive loss of micro circulation in the inner ear. I also had an intratympanic injection with cortiosteroids and had no success. My hearing loss is severe but not yet profound. Although, I'm only 15 db's away, from being profoundly deaf.

I wear a hearing aid/masker which helps me out tremendously. However, my T is horrendous and limits my functionality and quality of life.
