- Went in for a c5 through c7 posterior fusion and woke up tin
Is there anyone here like me? If so, please help.
I went in for a posterior fusion at C5-6 through C7 and woke up with a diagnosis of severe atypical tinnitus. My tinnitus ranges from 8,000 to 9,800 Hz at 75 to 90 decibels, and the volume and pitch change every few seconds.
I have already had a CT scan and a brain MRI, both of which came back normal. It seems likely that a nerve has been damaged. I was hoping someone here might be experiencing something similar and could offer advice or share their experience.
