Severe Multi-Tonal, Reactive Tinnitus with TTTS and Noxacusis — Fast-Paced, Screeching Tones and Worsening Symptoms

I need hope for severe multi-tonal tinnitus and some noxacusis, please.

I have around 10 different tones. They aren't the usual "eeeeee" or hissing types. They sound extremely fast paced, almost like someone is rapidly banging on a piano key, or like screeching violins. I also have TTTS and some noxacusis.

My tinnitus seems to be reactive.

I started taking benzodiazepines for the TTTS, and I think they ended up making things worse. That especially seems true after I stopped taking Wellbutrin and gabapentin back in September. My central nervous system feels completely fried.

I'm very scared. My tinnitus seems to get worse every day, even though I've cut out all digital audio and am protecting my ears.

Each case is different. Personally, I avoid using protection when I am home alone, since I have control over the sounds in that environment.
