Sharp Pain in Ear

This last week was not good for my ears. Was out into a few situations that spiked my T. Today my left ear had a sharp pain in but it was like a pulsing pain for just a few seconds and then went away. Then it happened again an hour later.

Any idea what this could be? Anyone else experience this?

I Think I'm feeling the same thing right now in my good ear. Did it just pass?

There was very slight pain today twice but that's it. Will see an ENT on Thursday. Am very fearful it will turn out to be an infection that will require antibiotics.

Is yours constant or does it just last a few seconds?

It wasn't constant, it came and went but was more painful when I would swallow. I went to emerge last night because I was freaking out and the doc said ears are clear but it might be TMJ. I don't know if that's a positive or a negative.
