Since my new tinnitus two months in, especially this last month, I smell the odor of smoke (where there should be none) and then some smells are very pungent to me. I have also started to have continual headaches.

Has anyone else had either of these two things occur with your tinnitus?

Thanks.

Might be worth chatting to your doctor about it.

I don't have a history of headaches but have been getting them since my tinnitus started. My primary referred me to a neurologist who concluded that the headaches are tension related to the tinnitus. I've since noticed a pattern of headaches whenever my tinnitus is particularly bad.

Headaches have gotten way worse for me as well. Could be related to the stress of the tinnitus I'm sure. As for smelling smoke and stuff, I really have no idea but with this stupid disease I think any brain malfunction along with it is likely possible.

Wow, I actually experienced this briefly in the early stages of my tinnitus and I attributed it to a neighbor burning wood. Interesting.
