Pregnancy or mild hearing loss.. Who knows.
ugh! I always see posts similar to this so I guess it's my turn.. My smoke alarm went off from broiling some bacon wrapped chicken. It went off for about 1-2 min before I could cram earplugs in my ear and get the doors open. The kids were freaking out so I had to get them outside before I could worry about my ears. It's pretty loud.. What are the chances I could have made my tinnitus worse?!

I guess it's too early to tell, most important thing is you brought your children to safety.

I guess the increase would have been right after, IMO, so if nothing happened re your T level so far, nothing will happen in the future.
Staying worried is the worst, anyway. You may have an increase in the future because of the stress from worrying, which you may interpret it was from the smoke alarm.
Stay calm and confident.

How is your T now?
The same crap happened to me beginning of Jan. I stood right underneath it and from my research it is 85db from 3 meter away. Was probably higher than 85db when standing close to it. Hit me in an anxiety spiral since I got very paranoid. Started to look for changes. The positive things is that I overcame it as well, not sure if it did spike or change the sound but if it did I don't care anymore. If it didn't do anything, then yes, I overcame another anxiety moment. Hopefully you're doing fine now! But yes, smoke alarms are freaking loud. Didn't realize that until after T. Scary!

It didn't make any long term changes just caused me a lot of unnecessary anxiety! Hope you're doing well!
