Smoothies or Juices Good for Tinnitus?

lol, I doubt juices or smoothies can have an affect on Tinnitus. And it's good to see a fellow Black Veil Brides fan here. Haha! :p

Heard lots of stories on t forums that veggies and some fruits blended in juices have temporarily subdued t. Pick the veggies and fruits with the least carbs/sugars.

You know, you could definitely give it a shot. Vegetable juicing and smoothies can't really hurt, as I see it. I mean, even if they don't affect your tinnitus, at least they are good for your overall health. So it's not a bad idea to try them anyway.

And who knows? I might work for you. The thing is tinnitus is a tricky thing in that it is cause by so many different things and everyone's seems to be either slightly different or vastly different. Many people report dietary factors that affect their T. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it), diet doesn't seem to affect mine at all. So at least I can eat anything I want without having to worry about it upsetting my T. But the downside is it makes me feel like I have less control of my T if I can't do things to avoid making it spike.

But anyway. Though smoothies and juicing doesn't seem to help me or other people on here as far as T goes, don't let that stop you from trying it out. You could be the one that it works for.

It might help if the tinnitus is from inflammation, lack of blood circulation or vitamin deficiency in my opinion. Fruit and vegetable smoothies address all these problems and might lower the volume.

There's probably no direct effect on tinnitus, but they are likely to improve your overall health and feelings, which indirectly helps dealing with tinnitus :)

I regularly drink 1 liter (4.22675284 cups?) smoothies for breakfast which give me a lot of energy, helps my hydration and is an easy way to get 'two fruit and five veg' - at least. I usually use 2 apples/pears, 2 bananas, flax seeds, orange juice/water and spinach/endive/arugula.
I occasionally make smoothies with soy milk and strawberries or blueberries.

Smoothies are great! Have fun! :)

What caused your T?

What caused your T?
When I was 17, it was gig where I didn't wear my earplugs for a couple of songs. The tinnitus was very, very mild though.

I'm not sure what caused the major increase I had later. Most likely is the loud rehearsal two days before (with earplugs), but I also had loud temporary tinnitus after having surgery done on my teeth. I'm wearing braces and have orthodontic bone anchors to correct my misaligned lower jaw. That, and depression, stress and multiple burn-outs...
