Cause of Tinnitus
Noise exposure, Think flare up is due to sinus/eust problems
I'm starting to think my tinnitus is partially somatic. I have gone to an ENT. I showed no significant hearing loss and was still in a healthy range for a 23 year old. I was in a car accident little under a year ago which is when I started realizing my tinnitus more prominently but my doctor assumed it was due to my manufacturing job that I started at the same time.

When I move my jaw certain directions I can change the tone and pitch. As well with my neck. I am trying to get into a dentist to check my TMJ and disk. Also a neurologist to see if they can notice anything as well.

I was reading some studies as well in a correlation to cervical instability and tinnitus.

I'm wondering if it could be a combination of damage done to my disk and my neck during my car accident which would explain why my tinnitus has gradually increased so much as of recently despite any noise exposure? Has anyone experienced anything like this, and if so what doctors helped you?

I also do experience a lot of neck and shoulder pain on a regular basis.
