Hello friends, it has been a while. I recently had my blood pressure checked just on the off chance because I was passing the pharmacy. As it turned out it was a good job I called in that day because my BP was 200 / 100 something! Doctor said I was lucky I had not had a stroke or heart attack.
Anyway, the thing is, since I have been taking medication to lower my BP my tinnitus has dropped massively and on some days has gone completely!
I thought the meds would make the T worse but nope.
I am taking Felodipine and Ramipril.
I asked the Dr to give me the tablet which was least likely to cause T and that is what I got.
In any case my BP was so high I simply HAD to take the tablets.
So, perhaps my T is linked to my extremely high BP. Or it could be a fluke. Who knows.
So that is my update. It has now been one full year since my T started. In the beginning I wanted to die. I really did. Only my wife saved me.
These days I have learned to live with the T when it is bad. And when it is bad it is seriously BAD.
I hope this is the start of recovery for me.
I wish you all the very best friends. Keep going. Do not give up.
