Sudden Tinnitus Onset in One Ear

66-year old male. I was doing something that required bending over and got a sudden onset of loud, high-pitched clicking in one ear. I can make it stop by tilting my head back and then down or turning my head. It can come and go spontaneously. Is this dangerous or merely annoying?

It could well be due to wax build up and your tinnitus sound go when the wax as gone.
Try olive oil drops in your ear and get them checked by your doctor....lots of love glynis
