Suffering from Urinary Tract Symptoms: What Drugs Can I Try That Won't Make Tinnitus Worse?

It's been a year that I'm suffering from lower urinary tract symptoms.

First they thought it was just a common UTI and prescribed me Cefuroxime. No issues with tinnitus. I did a full course. Symptoms vanished and when I ceased the antibiotics I relapsed.

Then it was a constant come and go. I had tests. Urine and sperm culture which came negative. The doctor said it is possibly prostatitis. He prescribed Ciprofloxacin. I was terrified to take it due to the testimonies here in regards to tinnitus. Symptoms got better on their own.

It again subsided and relapsed and then complete remission for months until August which came back. Ejaculation makes it worse.

I must go to the doctor but if they prescribe Ciprofloxacin, what will I do???

I also can't believe that I'm dealing with another chronic issue that interferes with my sexual life. As if I didn't struggle already...

What are my options?

Have you tried drinking a bottle or two of pure cranberry juice? That may help.

Urva Ursi is known to exacerbate tinnitus.

It did for me.

Just take good ol' fashioned Penicillin.
