I am having something called Corneal Cross Linking done. It is done to try and stop a condition called Kertaconos from worsening. What it does is strengthen the cornea and keeps it from misshaping anymore than it already has. In some cases it even improves ones eyesight from what it was pre-op. (lets hope for that)
From what I am told, it is a "minor" surgery and relatively painless. I'm just whining for the sake of whining.
@krispin,
My son had it done 2 month ago and went on fine as he had a dent in his and missshapen.
They told him it would not fix it but stop it getting worse and now waiting for a eye test to see what is vission is like now.
Love glynis
Well it is good to hear that it went well. My biggest concern is whether I can do a bike race in early August. My Dr. Says "SURE~! why not?" While I am reading all over the place that you can't do anything that exerts yourself for 6+ weeks.
