I had always had some very light tinnitus plus sensitivity in one ear. I got some dental work done a few times on the far back teeth and afterward I always felt like I had a hard time opening my mouth that wide.

What are the chances that the injections and the work on my teeth could have been done poorly, causing TMJ/TMD and helping create tinnitus?

ive wondered this about myself as well. I had a lot of work done with two root canals done over the course of several months, as well as a filling being redone. And I had an upper endoscopy where I had to have my mouth open for some time I believe. coincidentally, the tinnitus came on the morning after the endoscopy and two days after the last round of dental work. makes me crazy to think that in trying to do things to make ourselves better, we end up with this tinnitus crap.

but I also had other factors that could have done it - ie, meds. so who knows. I beat myself up over it, but I know I should not.
