Cause of Tinnitus
unsure
I have had hearing problems my entire life, several surgeries on my ears when I was a child. I have tinnitus more or less all the time, it sometimes get worse or better at times, but recently I have noticed that when my tinnitus gets worse, almost like turning on a switch and it cranks right up, it is as though my cat can hear it, she will perk right up and look around for something everytime this happens, have others ever noticed this?

Not with a cat, but my dog seems to know when I'm going to do things before I do. Maybe your cat is tuning in to some behavior you exhibit right before the dumb tinnitus acts up. Or maybe you are giving off an anxiety pheromone that cats sense. Very interesting!
