Hi. My name is Kristen. I have been dealing with tinnitus since July 2022. It came on due to a sneeze.

I have severe allergies, Eustachian tube dysfunction, sinusitis, and TMJ.

Since July it has gotten a little bit quieter but it's still bothersome.

Is there hope that it will go away or continue to fade?

I'm hoping I would be a good candidate for the Auricle device (Dr. Susan Shore), but my only concern is my hearing loss. I wonder if it's too profound for that. I have normal hearing from 250 Hz to 3000 Hz and mild to moderate high frequency sensorineural hearing loss at 4000 Hz (30 dB), 6000 Hz (40 dB) and 8000 Hz (45 dB). I fear if it gets worse I won't be a candidate.

I hope we are all candidates for Dr. Shore's device. And sooner rather than later. Hang in there. That's all we can right now. Hopefully it will just fade over time. Either way you will eventually give it less power to control your emotions.
