there are many different causes for T And many different sounds people hear from buzzing to even voices! Many people here are concerned about damage to their hearing and a lot of people stating T comes from damage to the hair cells. That's only one cause.
I have no hearing damage or loss and yet I have T and get hypercusis from time to time. For those who don't have hearing loss and don't think their T is damage to hair cells, they might find this helpful in reducing the volume of their T to a more manageable level. I found the sterno whatsit muscle ( sorry don't remember the name) in my neck has an effect on stuffy feelings in my left ear and massaging that muscle is useful.
