I have tinnitus is both ears why is this does it mean both my ears are screwed? my hearing test says I have normal hearing for my age (22) .

Do you think that assuming I have hearing damage would actually affect my hearing without having hearing loss?

Tinnitus is more common to be in both ears than one. Your hearing can be normal and still have tinnitus.

You can easily have hearing loss to where you still have a normal frequency range of hearing but you have tinnitus. The tinnitus is from damage to the nerves/neurons in your ears that connect your hair cells to your brain. They are very susceptible to damage from noise.
