Tinnitus Treatments in New York City — Suggestions?

Hi,

I live in NYC and am asking if any members on this forum have gone to any TRT clinics here in New York as I am about to venture in that direction.

I am trying to keep the clinic or hospital local to avoid travel. My Tinnitus & Hyperacusis (right ear) was caused by noise exposure 10 months ago.

I am thinking about notched therapy to due to cost. I have a Workers Comp case but I don't think they will cover this treatment as most medical insurance does not here in the US as it is not a proven method...

In most cases, there's nothing that can be done, other than tests and examinations.

If you have noise T then the best is to avoid loud noises and over time habituation will kick in - took me about 2 years

For H I can strongly recommend Light Therapy - LT or LLLT as it's called , very cheap now with high power IR led light sources
