Hi all, just new to this forum, looks more active and positive that anything i have seen yet !

Anyone got any information on what Vitamin or nutritional supplementation or therapy has been useful in reducing tinnitus ?

i have read that B12, A, E, Magnesium, Zinc can all be helfull but probably need to be taken in high dose to have any real effect ?

Interested to know if anyone has tried the Myers Cocktail (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers'_cocktail) to help treat the condition?

Thanks for anyone's feedback or advise

      Dave

the us military has experimented with n-acetyl-cysteine to prevent and-or treat tinnitus BUT it must be taken either before or soon after the damaging noise exposure

besides your list above some have claimed benefit from ginko biloba

btw i think your list is a good one except... for the meyers cocktail...

sounds like a "cock (tail) and bull (s#!^) story" ;)

(just trying to be funny no disrespect intended)

      best wishes
