Cause of Tinnitus
Pregnancy or mild hearing loss.. Who knows.
Just wanted to let everyone know baby and I are doing well. My tinnitus (3 months now) is still here and the level fluctuates as before but I'm hopeful it will go away as time goes on and my hormones return to normal. Even when my T is louder I'm not finding it bothers me as much because I have more important things to do. I've also started eating whatever I want instead of being of such a strict low sodium low sugar diet and guess what? I haven't noticed the food making one bit of difference and ultimately I am happier to not have to limit myself. I never had to rely on narcotic pain medications and the pain from delivery has subsided so physically I feel pretty good. Just wanted to update everyone :) I hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi, Natalie,

So great to hear that all is going well for you!! Thanks for the posting the photo of your baby; she is beautiful!!

I'm sure things will continue to get better as time goes on.

Best wishes and hugs,
Karen

I feel like I have maybe been habituating a bit to the T. It doesn't bother me nearly as much as it used to. I guess the overall volume is slightly lower then before I delivered so that's a positive sign. Even with my lack of sleep I haven't noticed an increase in volume above my normal levels. It feels good to not let tinnitus control my life as much. Especially when it comes to what I eat and drink. I was really strict before delivery and honestly it was awful. I feel so much better and like I am in control of myself, not my tinnitus. That's a great step forward. :) plus having a baby naturally kinda boosts your confidence to handle things!

Great to hear your improvement, Natalie. Time is on your side. Keep minimizing T and its influence on your life. It can only get better. Enjoy your angelic baby and keep focusing on the positive. Congrats.

I've found the volume of my tinnitus has gone down as I think about it less. Almost like a "positive feedback loop". The opposite thing happens when I get stressed and agitated by it - it starts a "negative feedback loop".

Congratulations Natalie. :)

Very happy to hear that your adorable baby is healthy and you are both doing well. Congratulations ;)

I absolutely agree with you. I find myself in the exact same "loops" like you're talking about.
