I'm currently dealing with pain hyperacusis (noxacusis), which comes in the form of burning, aching, and stabbing pain. Has anyone here met an ENT who is open-minded and willing to work with you and explore new options to help manage the pain?
I'm based in California and my condition is currently severe. I wear double protection all day and am limited to whispering two to four sentences a day.
