Vaccinations (Hepatitis A/B & Tetanus)

Hi,

It has been a while since I last visited the forums. I had many life changes over the past year. I am in a good place at the moment.

Anyway, I wanted to ask advice on vaccinations. Next March I will go to Asia and need to have Hepatitis A/B and Tetanus. I have read that these can cause tinnitus or make it worse.

Any advice on this?

 

I had those shots last year. No change at all in my tinnitus.

 

All vaccinations are safe, none of them are ototoxic.

How did it go? I know it's been 8 years so you're probably not going to answer, but worth the shot.

 

I had Hep B vax before med school and it brought my autoimmune disease out of remission. I think my autoimmune disease may be at least somewhat related to my noxacusis.

 

Sorry, do you mean it brought it back? Or that it put it into remission? Also, which autoimmune disease do you have if you don't mind telling?

 

It brought it back unfortunately. And it's juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (enthesitis type).
