Video: Chris Martin (Coldplay) on His Tinnitus

Money and success is the best help you can get. I strongly believe celebrities take it in their stride because their lives are full of huge distractions. They are on world tours and making platinum selling albums plus multiple other projects. When you keep your mind busy you tend to zone tinnitus out.

The problem some of us face is depression and anxiety resulting from our tinnitus. Without having the distractions of success it's a lot easier to withdraw into yourself. I guarantee tinnitus wouldn't be half as bad if you could wake up and say "I'm having a bad day today, you know what, I think I'll go and buy that Aston Martin with the custom leather seats I've always wanted. Then after I'll take a break in the Maldives for a bit".

People say money doesn't buy you happiness, strictly speaking it doesn't but it damn sure buys you a sense of security. As long as you have genuinely loving people around you, you've pretty much hit the jackpot as far as life goes.

Tinnitus as we all know is made worse by stress and various other factors. For some this can be worrying about work, feeling you can no longer go out for fear of being in loud situation etc. For every day people like us it's a lot harder to get back into your routine of life; you can easily find yourself dwelling in bed stressing about everything.

Well that was useless, if these people with influence don't shout out about the torment for many, who will anybody take notice of?
Certainly not us minions.
The only thing his money would buy me would be a car with the quietest road noise rating, now that would be nice.
