For about eight weeks now, I have been experiencing a white noise-like external sound when I watch TV on volume levels 1 to 3. It feels like background noise that overpowers people talking, so I have to increase the volume a bit to hear clearly. A lot of people say audio quality is bad for them. Is this what they mean? If I increase the volume slightly, it seems to improve.
I have hyperacusis and reactive tinnitus, and this issue seems to fluctuate for me. Nothing else fluctuates with my hyperacusis. It is consistently bad. I am housebound.
Has anyone found that this type of issue goes away over time? I have not seen anyone mention it before.
Lastly, I have a Samsung Smart TV. Is there any way to equalize the volume so it does not spike when people shout or during ads?
Thank you!
