Hello!
I'm an unfortunately frequent user of the "regular tinnitus" section of the forum, but 2 days ago I got a new sound in my previously better ear, the right one.
This is a wind-blow like sound, which is not constant, I only have it from time to time, but then it's kind of rhythmic. Sometimes it's in sync with my pulse, sometimes I'm not so sure. What got me thinking that it may not be pulsatile tinnitus, is that it presented itself after a whole day of clogged right ear, which got better after Valsalva-ing a couple of times.
Can it be somehow Eustachian Tube related or is this just a huge coincidence?
The rhythmic sound straightens and gets constant in the case of straining but just for a very short period of time, then it sounds/feels like air coming out of a balloon/tyre.
I checked my blood pressure since onset a couple of times. Normally my BP is in the 100-110 and 60-80 range, but from around 2 months, my pulse is higher than normal, not awfully though, it seldom gets over 100/min in a calm state. I am overweight. My last BP this morning was 107/79 with a pulse of 95.
I know that without scans it's hard to say, I'm just interested in your opinions and I'm highly anxious.
