Around 2 months ago I woke up to a spike that has persisted until today. What is really weird though is that some days are better than others, while some days suck really bad.

I have this pulsating hiss that comes and goes, it will stay for a couple of days, then leave for a couple of days. Another weird thing is that I sometimes feel like I can't hear out of my left ear as well as my right ear, but I went and had an extended audiogram (all the way to 20 kHz) and my hearing was all good up until there.

I have tried taking Magnesium and Prednisone and everything I try seems to make it worse.

I'm just really tired, and I was hoping for some encouragement or maybe anybody that has gone through something similar.

For clarity; you're saying that Prednisone worsened your tinnitus?

It seems like after I take Prednisone, it makes the hiss worse for a little bit, although it used to calm it down so I don't know, maybe I am just anxious and everything seems to make it worse.
