Where is the evidence for that radical claim? There isn't a 50/50 that I know of.

If anything would get rid of some types of tinnitus it would be curing hearing loss.

Well we know it wouldn't do anything for SNHL induced tinnitus and dont see it helping in TMJ either, then again I don't know much about TMJ but I never heard of that as a treatment.
