I'll believe it when I see it, put it that way ;) There isn't enough priority in tinnitus research for me to be hopeful that we'll see anything remotely close to a treatment anytime soon. Praying we at least get an update on Shore's device ASAP though

There just gotta be some way to reduce activity in the brain when it comes to these phantom noises. I've saw some members here used retigabine to reduce their t. Maybe a refinement of that could help. I'm no scientist tho :/

I initially got mine from an infection but when they did CT scan they found mucous still in my ears! It’s been 11 months and I still have it coming out of my ears! I am super happy for you that it’s dwindling down to nothing.

@SumGuy I don’t think it’s the same. Yours seems way milder. Mine is bad. High pitched clicks, hisses and screeches. Mine is not exactly fluid- it’s thicker.

Like everyone is saying: Keep protecting. Your ears are hurt but your brain is adjusting and lowering the noise (or however you wish to view it). Enjoy life while knowing it can get worse so be very careful. You're young, have hope! You might even see a real treatment someday.
