  • Wow, the last three days my T has been a 10/10. I just don't understand what is going on. I should be getting better not worse.

Hay man! We havent talked directly but I saw couple of yours posts. Has yours come down to at least an 8? Mine is the same... I am 4 months in and is only becoming worse for me no apparent reason...
it took me around 3 months before I consulted a Physio. During the 3 months, I saw a few doctors and did some hearing tests but it was a self-diagnoses that got me seeing a physio. My T was a combination of a high pitch sound and buzzing. Cheers
Hi mark, I believe my T is somatic and related to muscles. So yes, stretching and massaging my neck and shoulder area helps reduce the T a lot. After my first physio session my T disappeared within around 48 hours. I was tasked to regular massaging and stretching exercises and improve my sleeping posture. As mentioned my T fluctuates depending on how tight my muscles are.

I'm unsure why yours would get worse after physio but I'm not a muscle expert. I know it sounds hard to do but try to relax about your T. God takes us through difficult times in His way and in His timing. Pay attention to what your body is telling you. Cheers

Yeah I dont understand why mine got worse. I had two sessions so far. Mine I very somatic. I really figured it would get better with physio. But it's def not. . But yes I'm praying god will heal me in his time. I really wish I had your success.
hi Mark, thanks for your message but like some of the others I couldn't find a reply button. I thought the website was broken so apologies for the belated response. My tinnitus fluctuates between low to completely gone as it is dependent on my tightened muscles. I had to learn to change sleeping postures and not lie flat on my stomach as told by my physio.

That said, when I say my T goes away it really goes away and I know the root cause of it so I can manage it. However, I believe it's also related to stress --> muscle tightening etc.. My T is only in the left ear. Don't stress out bro, everything will be ok.

    God bless

thank you for responding. Yeah mine is very loud. Mine is very loud and what I don't understand is that when I do exercises for neck and jaw and when I see the physiotherapy I get worse. It get much louder. So I'm scared I'm making it worse. It hasn't come down either. Do you have somatic? Can you change the loudness by moving neck and jaw?
    M
My T is also only in the left ear too. My hearing is great too.
Hi MarkX, I saw your private message in my inbox but for some reason there is no reply button that I could use to answer you. Anyway, my tinnitus is only in the right ear ( wax impacted one) and the sound is coming from the ear, not head. It is not somatic. In the first month is was this high pitched eeeeee sound, and then it became like a bunch of crickets are having a party in my head.

After about 3 months it was like crickets and hissing on and off but the sound was always there. The fading started after about 8 months. I never had spikes whatsoever. This is I guess due my tinnitus being non- reactive. During these 30 months after the onset, I never changed my diets or lifestyle.

Yeah I couldn't find the reply button either at first. I had to use a computer to respond then it showed up on my phone. So the crickets are gone as well, you only have a very mild ring on those days?
Oh opps....its ok maybe others can use this info. Im so tech saavy :)

its ok. and thank you for taking the time to give me this information. i appreciate it alot. I'm really hoping its temporary.
Also try tumeric capsules, release muscle tension, breathing techniques...clean up ur diet! Be super strict...give it time. Good luck. Cant use my pc, hope it gets better soon. Distractions r good!
    M
Yes, i've been on a very good diet and lost 35 pounds. I do just need to give it time. Its very hard to ignore because its very loud. Was your loud like on a scale of 10? and how long before you notice it started to fade?
Okay i may be in the right place...lol. My T is pulsatile ( I hear my heartbeat/ pulse in my right ear). 1st time it gradually went away within a substantial amount of time, so be patient.
    M
your still posting on the wall and not in a private message
    M
Yeah so yours way Pulsatile. Yeah mine is very different. yours may be a blood pressure issue. Mine is a high pitch EEEE sound and somatic. Your first one gradually went away. when did you notice it start to fad the first time?

Hi Markx, I first got T from stress, went away completely in 8-9 mts. Yrs with zero T.
Currently, volume substantially less in the last 2 mts and have long moments of silence. Getting better.

Thank you so much for responding. When you first had it was a high pitch ring and crickets? Did it start fading over time or just stopped? I hope yours now goes away soon. I hope mine too.
