12,000 reports of tinnitus out of 430,000,000 doses is more like .002%. Even if there are 100× more tinnitus events than reported you're still talking about 0.2%. Tinnitus is an extremely rare side effect of these vaccines.

Just an update for those that may be waiting for the Novavax vaccine. They've submitted for emergency use approval to the WHO, which means submissions to the UK/EU/US/AUS shouldn't be far behind. Good news for those holding out for a non-mRNA vaccine.

Novavax COVID-19 vaccine is a protein subunit vaccine which is a completely different technology than the existing vaccines. It's tech that's been used in previous vaccines like the Hep B vaccine. It seems to cause less frequent and less severe side effects than the Adenovirus and mRNA vaccines.

I do actually. I had to scroll back through my Google photos and find it lol. At cruise the dB level was fluctuating between 66-70 dB. I didn't have the dB meter running during takeoff but I remember that I couldn't even hear the buzz of the engine. I couldn't believe how quiet it was.
